Class 37 No. 37403 isle of Mull has just uncoupled from the 17.10 Whitby - Pickering service at Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on 12th May 2022, and preserved BR Standard 4 tank No. 80136 is about to take over for the run to Pickering. The Class 37 has been fired in for the summer period to provide mainline certified traction for the Network Rail section to Whitby as NYMR has nothing suitable currently available from its own locomotive fleet.
