In preparing the way for new construction at Stockport an extensive view of the impressive viaduct is temporarily possible. on 8th March 2022, XC units Class 220 No. 220016 and Class 221 No. 221124 sweep across forming the 15.27 Manchester Piccadilly to Reading.
