LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No. 48373 drifts past Chester General station at the head of an eastbound train of empty 4-wheel fuel tanks on 4th May 1965. Allocated to Birkenhead (8H) at the time, it was subsequently reallocated to Rose Grove (10F), Stockport Edgeley (9B) and Newton Heath (9D), from where it was withdrawn in June 1968.
