On 25th February 2022, Colas Class 43 No. 43257 and 43251 on the rear stand at Hellifield with the 14.15 Blackpool North - Derby RTC Network Rail test train. This was the first use of HST power cars on this train, replacing Class 37s. Scheduled to proceed to Carnforth and Morecambe the planned schedule was abondoned at Hellifield with the train returning directly to Derby via Blackburn and Preston.
