The 1128 Hull to Manchester Piccadilly service near Kirk Sandall on 22nd September 1980, formed by a hybrid 'Trans-Pennine' Class 123 and Class 124 four-car set Nos. E52087, E51981, E59824 and E51958. Both types where built at Swindon, with the Class 123s originally employed on Western Region Inter-City services.
