Demonstrating a train heating boiler in working order, Brush Type 4 No. D1104 passes Egmanton Crossing up distant signal with the 13:00 King's Cross to Newcastle service on 17th November 1969. The locomotive later became Class 47/4 No. 47521 under the TOPS system.
