Brush Type 2 No. D5684 has just passed beneath the A1 road at Checker House, between Retford and Worksop, heading a long train of empty hopper and mineral wagons on 10th February 1969. The locomotive became Class 31 No. 31256 and later 31459 under TOPS. 10.02.1969
