On the 15th July 2021, the 03:10 Trafford Park to Southampton Western Docks came to a stop in the Atherstone area when the train engine GBRF Class 66/7 No. 66708 came to a halt rescue came in the shape of 66735 "Peterborough United" eventually reaching it's destination 2hrs late. The return working the 14:24 Southampton Western Docks to Trafford Park passes Radley 40 mins late with GBRF 66735 at the helm but unusually the failed loco from the southbound working GBRF 66708 is still attached to the rear of the train.
