With name and number plates removed, BR (LNER) Peppercorn Class A1 Pacific No. 60116 (Hal o' the Wynd) is seen stored at Tyne Dock Depot on 1st August 1965, where it had been since March 1965 although only withdrawn in June 1965. Three days after this photo was taken locomotive was moved to Blyth where it was scrapped soon afterwards.
