From 10th - 14th May 2021, Locomotive Services ultilised its Midland Pullman branded HST set for driver training on the Settle & Carlisle line ahead of the commencement of the 2021 Staycation Express season. On 12th May 2021 the striking nanking blue livery is seen at Long Preston as Class 43 No. 43046 Geoff Drury 1930 - 1999 leads the 12.00 Carlisle - Crewe via Settle and Blackburn working.
