Northern Class 158 units Nos. 158842 and 158782 arrive at Kirkby Stephen on 14th May 2021 with the 10.49 Leeds - Carlisle service. The functional signal box was opened in 1974 and replaced the previous 1894 Midland Railway box that was sited a few yards to the south.
