LMS Stanier rebuild Royal Scot Class 4-6-0 No. 46112 (Sherwood Forester) is seen stored at Annesley Depot on 26th April 1964 following a front end collision, and was withdrawn 2 weeks later. Three Classmates were on this Depot on this date No. 46125 No. 46163, and No. 46165, all still working on the GCR. No. 46112 had to suffer the ignominy of having its nameplates prematurely removed when appearing at Derby station on 23rd September 1961 at the naming of Class 45 No. D100 (45060) "Sherwood Forester".
