On the 22nd December, whilst awaiting departure time from Clitheroe with the 11:25 service to Rochdale, a fault with the door closing mechanism was discovered on Class 158 No. 158787, causing the cancellation of the service. Also in the consist was Class 153 No. 153307, with both units being pictured at Blackburn running ECS to Blackburn King Street Depot, for rectification.
