LNER rebuild Class 01 No. 63868 rejoins the main line at High Marnham signal box with a brake van as from the power station to Warsop on 28th June 1965. For reasons unclear, loaded trains generally arrived with 33 hoppers, but unless there were 66 empty hoppers available, the incoming locomotive usually departed as 'engine & brake'.
