Buxton allocated CL 108 DMBS No. 53626 is stabled outside the DMU Test Facility at BREL Doncaster Works on 5th June 1988 after what was probably it's last general overhaul. Delivered during December 1958 as No. 50626, and renumbered as No. 53626 in May 1983, she would be withdrawn from passenger service in October 1991 before being renumbered Departmental No. 977745. In this guise she operated for another year as a Route Learner / Sandite vehicle before being finally withdrawn in October 1992 and scrapped by CF Booth, Rotherham during January 1993.
