The Statesman rail tour, recreating one of the classic holiday trains of the golden age of railway travel, passes Gloucestershire en route from Rugby to Kingswear on 28th August 2020. The train is led by Class 47 No. D1944/47501 'Craftsman' with Class 47 D1935/47805'Roger Hosking MA 1925-2013' tucked in behind.
