A TPE Class 185 standard class vestibule and seating area spotless and clean with social distancing seating measures in place controlled by a ticketing system. As can be seen this works well when there are few customers on board but might well prove extremely difficult if and when commuters return on this normally overcrowded TPE route.
It is good to report that with the introduction of the Hitachi 802's then services left operated by the Class 185's are using double sets providing six coaches instead of the usual three. This service was a Manchester Airport to Redcar working.
