On the Wuchtertal Bahn preserved railway former DR Class 50 No. 50.2988 heads high above the valley over Epfenhofen Viaduct on a Zollhaus-Wiezen train on 19th June 2005. This line was built during the 2nd World War close to the Swiss Border to avoid crossing the border.
