Class 55 Deltic No. 55005 The Prince of Wales Own Regiment of Yorkshire is seen at King's Cross on 19th August 1980, about to couple up to a stopping service to York. The locomotive had just six months left in service being withdrawn in February 1981, and like all its classmates that did not survive into preservation, was scrapped at Doncaster works.
