Class 47 No. 47090 Vulcan heads west through Sonning Cutting near Reading on 1st 6th August 1980 with an Inter City express. Originally named Vulcan in 1965 No. 47090 was renumbered as 47623, then 47843 but retained its name throughout. No. 47843 is now part of the Rail Operations Group fleet.
