Class 86/2 No. 86256 'Pebble Mill' is seen approaches Glasgow Central station on 7th February 1990 prior to departs with a passenger service for Carlisle and beyond. Named after the BBC Birmingham Television Studios No. 86256 wears a very recently applied Mainline livery complete with Intercity branding and also displays the very small loco numbers that were in use at this time. Withdrawn in November 2002 she was scrapped at the Ron Hull yard in Rotherham, Yorkshire in early 2006.
