Following the failure of GWR class 57 No. 57605 on the 21:45 Penzance to London Paddington sleeper service on the evening of 17th October 2019,
GWR utilised class 43 HST power cars Nos. 43040/43198 to drag No. 57605 and the empty coaching stock from Laira Depot to Reading Traincare Depot. Running as the 10:35 Plymouth Laira to Reading Traincare Depot the formation is seen passing Cullompton on the morning of 18th October 2019.
