Narrow gauge class 99.23-24 "Brockenlok" No. 99 236 was stabled in the small Depot of Wernigerode station on 18th September 2019. The locomotive was built mid of the 1950s by VEB Lokomotivbau "Karl Marx" Babelsberg and still in use on the 140 km long narrow gauge rail network of the Harz hills.
