1601 "Matthew Murray" is a typical late Victorian contractors 0-6-0 tank loco (albeit built by Manning Wardle in 1903). It is seen hauling a short goods train on the little used Balm Lane branch of the Middleton Railway on September 14th 2019.1544 "Slough Estates No. 3" is on the rear.
