Both Grand Central and Hull Trains are awaiting delivery of new rolling stock to replace their existing fleets of class which are soldiering on for the time being. On 2nd September 2019 class No. 180109 and 180107 stand side by side at London King's Cross with the 18.48 Hull Trains service to Beverley and the 19.27 Grand Central service to Sunderland respectively.
