On the 11th July 2019 "The Scarborough Spa Express" operated by WCRC passes Dudfleet Lane, Horbury, en route from Carnforth to York, where steam will replace diesel for the onward journey to Scarborough. In Intercity livery Class 47/4s Nos. 47828 and 47832 double-head the working.
