BR Class 81 No. 81002 (E3003) is the only preserved Class 81. There were 25 built around 1960 but only 22 survived till TOPs renumbering. this example finished its days on ECS duties at Euston before withdrawl in October 1990. Seen here stabled at Barrow Hill on 15th May 2019.
