Wednesday 20th March 2019 saw Ex Great Central HST 43480/43484 passing Wainfleet en route to the coast at Skegness as ECS and. Unsure if this was a driver training run or some other test run, as there are rumours that EMT are to replace a couple of DMU sets with an HST set, thus freeing up the units for use elsewhere. The 2 Summer HST services are already showing on RTT timetable starting 20th July 2019. Quite a rarity to see the buffered sets along this line.
