On 1 1st January 2019 Northern Rail and DRS ran a Class 37 Farewell tour from Carlisle to Carnforth and return to mark the ending of locomotive hauled passenger services on the Cumbrian Coast line. DRS Class 37 No. 37409 Lord Hinton makes a splendid sight and sound crossing Arnside viaduct with the 09.52 Carlisle - Carnforth. Classmate No. 37425 Concrete Bob/Sir Robert McAlpine is on the rear.
