SECR four compartment second No. 2947 at Bodiam on the Kent and East Sussex Railway on 4th August 2003. This carriage was built at Ashford Works in 1901 to supplement the railways suburban stock. Sold in 1921, it and three other similar bodies became a bungalow in Ashford. It was rescued in 1986 and moved to Tenterden. Then returned to service in 1995
