Cross Country Class 43 No. 43301 and classmate No. 43378 power the 07:00 Edinburgh to Plymouth service as it rejoins the Cross Country route on 31st August 2018 but running approximately 144 minutes behind schedule owing to a later start and also a signalling failure in the Toton area. Due to the resignalling and remodelling of the Derby Station area all Cross Country-operated services were diverted onto other routes between Stenson Junction and Chesterfield during the period from 22nd July until 2nd September 2018.
