It has become something of a tradition for all the locomotives used in the Spa Valley Railway Summer Diesel Gala to haul the last train. Taking the final train of the weekend towards Groombridge on 5th August 2018 are Class 25 No. D7612, Class 17 No. D8568, Class 33 No. 33063, Class 73/1 No. 73140, Class 33/2 No. 33201 and Class 55 No. 55019.
