On the right, Class 43 power car No. 43038 awaits departure from Sleaford, while heading in the opposite direction, on the rear of a northbound working, is classmate No. 43080. Both HST sets were on diverted East Coast Main Line services to and from London King's Cross on 7th September 1986.
