Network Rail's two-car Class 950 diesel No. 950001 passes along the freight-only route at Barrow-on-Trent, Derbyshire on 24th July 2018 with the 09:05 Shrewsbury to Derby RTC working. This working had included in its itinerary which many routes in the West Midlands area covering Wolverhampton, Rowley Regis, Kidderminster, Kingswinford, Birmingham Moor Street, Dorridge, Hatton, Landor Street Jn, Tamworth, Burton-on-Trent, Castle Donington, Toton and Long Eaton.
