A weather-worn Inter City-liveried Class 86/2 No. 86216 'Meteor' is stabled in Norwich Station on 31st July 1988. Delivered to BR during September 1965 as AL6 No. E3166 she was modified to a Class 86/2 and renumbered in the 1970's. Allocated to the InterCity division following the privatisation of BR in the mid 1990's she was withdrawn from service during April 1998 and broken up at Immingham Freight Terminal in March 2003.
