A view of the withdrawn locomotives awaiting disposal at Bathgate yard on 28th March 1964 as seen from the cab of LNER Gresley Class A3 Pacific No. 60087 (Blenheim). Other Class A3 locomotives in the line were Nos. 60037, 60057, 60099, and 60101, along with Class A2 Pacifics Nos. 60529, 60534, and 60537. All these locomotives were scrapped just a few weeks later in June 1964.
