On 13th June 1987 Class 47/3 No. 47363 'Billingham Enterprise', in Railfreight red stripe livery, failed just outside Derby Station while on a Northbound service, and had to be rescued by Derby shunter Class 08 No. 08622. No. 47363 was replaced by Class 45/1 No. 45140 that fortunately was available on Derby depot. No. 47363 was scrapped in March 2010, some 10 years after withdrawal.
