Norfolk Southern (NS) SD40-2 3258 idles under the defunct coaling tower at the yard in laeger, WV on 2nd October 2014. This community along with others in West Virginia was suffering from the reduction in coal production. There would have normally been six locomotives here dealing with coal trains, today its just the one.
