BR Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 73156, in the guise of Classmate No. 73084 'Tintagel', leaves Loughborough with its inaugural public working after a 31-year renovation and only 200 miles of test workings, the 11:30 service to Leicester North on 5th October 2017, at the Great Central Railway Autumn Steam Gala. During test runs in the previous week problems had been found with motion alignment resulting with the coupling rods being removed 8 times, and unfortunately after this first working No. 73156 was substituted on its next scheduled turns.
