The West Lancashire Light Railway (WLLR) celebrated its 50th Anniversary over the weekend of 23 / 2 4th September 2017 when Hunslet 0-4-0ST No. 823 Irish Mail was noted on passenger duty - having arrived at Becconshall with a shuttle service from Delph.
