Allocated to Eastfield MPD, Glasgow Class 37/0 No. 37237 is stabled on nearby Polmadie MPD on 29th March 1976. Entering service as Type 3 No. D6937 at Cardiff Canton MPD she would make Scotland her home from 1968 until 1985 when she transferred to Landore TMD, Wales. Refurbished at BREL Crewe Works in 1987 she emerged as Class 37/7 No. 37893. In July 2001 she left the UK to work on infrastructure duties in Italy before returning home in March 2003. Stored at Toton TMD in late 2004 she was officially withdrawn in December 2009 and scrapped at Ron Hulls yard in Rotherham during April 2012.
