The WCML at Stableford with LM Class 350 No. 350235 heading on the Up Slow Line on 12.35 Liverpool Lime St-Birmingham New St on 25th July 2017. The preferred route of Phase 2 of HS2 has recently been published and it is planned to run across the fields immediately above the train in the picture crossing the harvested field close to the farmhouse before passing beneath the village of Whitmore in tunnel on its way to join the existing WCML south of Crewe.
