GWR Modified Hall No. 6990 'Witherslack Hall' awaits an early afternoon departure at Ramsbottom station on the East Lancashire Railway on 22nd July 2017. En-route from Heywood to Rawtenstall, the locomotive remained at a stand for over 15 minutes, awaiting the arrival of the delayed service in the opposite direction and a clear path.
