Class 55 No. 55009 "Alycidon" passes Elford Loop, Staffordshire on 17th June 2017 with Pathfinder Tours "The Welsh Central Liner" the 05:18 Burton-on-Trent to Shrewsbury excursion. The tour was scheduled to run via Worcester Shrub Hill, Gloucester, Cardiff, Port Talbot and the Central Wales Line before reaching Shrewsbury and following a break to return to Burton-on-Trent via Wolverhampton, Rowley Regis, Worcester, Gloucester and the Lickey Incline.
