When Class 03 No. 03099 was rescued from industry for preservation in very poor condition it received the nickname "Edale" - as it was beyond Hope! Now restored to working condition No. 03099 is seen on 3rd June 2017 starting up at Rowsley to be used on brake van trips at the Heritage Shunters Trust Gala.
