Collet 1400 class 0-4-2T No. 1450 made a welcome return to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for the Cotswold Festival of Steam Gala, this time with auto-trailer No. W238 named Chaffinch. This was the archetypal Great Western branch-line workhorse and a class that ran local train services between Cheltenham and Honeybourne until 1960. W238 worked on this line in the 1950s. The pairing is seen returning from Laverton to the GWR home station at Toddington on 28th May 2017.
