One of a number of trips using unusual motive power to mark the end of locomotive hauled services on the Settle-Carlisle line, Class 56 No. 56030 Eggborough Power Station pilots Class 47 No. 47475 at Shipley on 11th November 1989 with the 08.35 Leeds - Carlisle service. Last of the Romanian built examples No. 56030 operated until November 1993 and was scrapped in September 1998.
