Stabled inside Paris Gare D'Austerlitz, France on 1st March 1995 is SNCF CC 6500 Class No. 6534 'Beziers'. Built by Alstrom between 1969 and 1975 the 74 members of this class were the most powerful locomotives in France rated at 5900kW, nearly 8000hp, and weighing 116 tonnes, they also had a maximum speed ofmhph.
