With the opening of the Manchester Metrolink Cross City link on 26th February which resulted in a much enlarged St Peter's Square Tram Stop this location has now become a substantial hub with an impressively frequent service. On the left Tram No. 3071 heads for Piccadilly on a service from Altrincham and on the right Tram No. 3104 heads for East Didsbury on a service from Rochdale Town Centre via the Cross City link on 28th February 2107
