Class 40 No. 40012 sporting front end number, headcode and painted nameplate Aureol ambles past Arpley Yard at Warrington on 14th June 1984. Withdrawn in February 1985, Aureol became a departmental loco 97407 to assist with the Crewe remodelling and was then saved for preservation at the Midland Railway.
